Look Beautiful!

                     Skincare Basics

Every woman is beautiful but each woman still has to take care of their beauty. Just follow the basic skin care regimen. As you all know, the daily routine would be Cleansing, Toning, Exfoliation, Moisturizing and Sunscreen. It’s not a difficult process.

Cleansing is the first step of a skincare regimen. It is used to remove makeup, dirt, and oil and promotes a clean skin. To maintain a healthy, vibrant looking skin, try to choose the most effective cleanser which suits your skin type. Cleansing is very beneficial for the face and neck, it prevents skin against the formation of wrinkles, helpful in absorbing moisturizer and anti-aging creams easily.

Start and finish your day with mild, gentle face cleansers, which are available in various forms: Creamy, milky, facial soaps, foam, lotions.

Skin Type

What To Use

Oily and combination

Lotions, milk cleansers, foaming gels. Oil-free cleansers and medicated creams are good for acne-prone skin.

Normal

Soaps, lotions, creamy liquids.

Dry Skin

Moisturizing soaps, creamy or liquid cleansers

Sensitive

Soaps or milky cleansers, hypo allergenic cleansers

Toning is the second step, used to clear the last traces of remaining makeup, dirt and helps in minimizing pores. It is considered to be best for oily and acne-prone skin. Always use alcohol-free toner. Toners are used to firm and smooth the skin but should not be dry.

Exfoliation is the third step, which is the scrubbing of the dead, dry skin cells and provides a revived and younger looking skin. This process of exfoliation isn’t essential but it plays a major part in the skincare routine. Exfoliation is recommended for one to two times a week, but oilier skins need exfoliation more often and at least once a week for normal to dry skins. As soon as you start exfoliation, your skin will show more smoothness and refreshed.

Moisturizing is the concluding step. It keeps skin softer and well hydrated. It also prevents the effects of several environmental conditions. No matter what your skin type is you have to use it. Try to use moisturizers with sunscreens in daytime or use it separately. Attempt to implement it within your daily routine. Regardless of weather, it must be utilized. Tinted moisturizers and foundations with SPF 15 or higher are the other options.

Choose a right moisturizer with sunscreens:

1.     Dry skin                           use heavier creams.

2.     Normal skin                  lotions and light creams.

3.     Oily/combination skin       oil-free lotion or gel, light weight

4.   Sensitive skin                     use hypoallergenic creams.

Use a light-weight moisturizer at daytime so that your skin doesn’t get oily, and makeup can be applied easily. Your skin absorbs more moisture at nighttime, so be sure to use richer and nourishing creams.

These are the basic steps to follow and only take a few minutes.
